  • 11-10-2012 Estonteco, partner of the European program "a world you like with a climate you like"

    Luxembourg-based company Estonteco has been presented by Mrs. Connie Hedegaard, the high commissioner of the European Union for the “Directorate-General for Climate Action”, during an official ceremony in London as partner of the program “a world you like with a climate you like”. This initiative, which will run until the end of the next year, aims to sensitize all European citizens to the importance of climate protection by illustrating practical examples in the different member countries of the European Union. Estonteco was elected, as only representative of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, because it is building a network of charging stations to ensure drivers can keep their zero-emission vehicles on the road. Today the network stretches across eight countries.

    The XX International Conference on Chemical Reactors will take place in Mondorf, Luxemburg on 3-7 December 2012.The aim of the conference, which usually attracts participants from 35-40 different countries, is to present the most recent concepts in the field of chemistry and provide opportunities for discussing the latest research results. The programme will include fundamental as well as applied research. A presentation day of the event for Luxembourg researchers will be organised on 27 September 2012.
